Missions / Responsabilités / Activités
  • Provide information and advice about Globus Education Systems, generally, and about its admissions procedures snecificallv through information sessions conducted hath in the GES office and elsewhere
  • Travel may be undertaken indenendentlv or as ioint travel with other colleagues and mav be assigned to work permanentiv overseas
  • Conduct interviews of prospective and current apolicants.
  • Read and evaluate admissions annlications from accun denaranhical Annlv discretion and independent iudament in decidina which qualified students should be presented to the scholarshin committee for Possible award
  • Handle correspondence, email and telephone contact from prospective students applicants. parents. secondarv school administrators and the deneral nublic in assianed geographical regions.
  • Answer and respond to inquiries and concerns of applicants and students both admitted and reierted from assianed sesaranhical area
  • Additional administrative responsibilities as assigned. Includina but not limited to. the preparation of publications. coordination of student groups. coordination of recruitina efforts, coordination of joint travel, assisting with the transter admissions process and treatment of application forms and other apolication requirement to conform and be transmitted to partner universities Typical Core 
Duties
  • Recruit evaluate and make recommendations on the selection of candidates for admission
  • Perform ore and post admissions outreach: counsel admitted. denied and wait-listed candidat
  • Coordinate onsite logistics for admissions events
  • Mav assist in the administration of a snecific nroiect and/or program
  • Develon relationshins with secondarv or university personnel. professional raanizations, students, parents alumni and secondary school staff
  • Ensure compliance with universitv admissions policies and procedures and applicable legal rules and regulations with respect to students' rights to privacy
Compétences / Exigences / Qualités
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required with a maximum age limit of 45 years maximum
  • Minimum of 3 years relevant work experience and proficient in both English and French languange
  • Masters degree an added advantage
Additional Qualifications and Skills
  • Should possess strong customer service orientation
  • Must work well under pressure and possess strong time management and  possess strong time management and organizational skills to meat deadlines indenendent initiative excellent indament anc the ability to keen information confidential
  • Proficiency with computers and office productivity tools a must: access to Internet in order to review applications and work remotely as needed
  • Problem solving skills, Including specifically: the abllity to develop and analyze options / hypotheses objectively
  • Communication skIlls (both written and verbal), including specifically: the ability make presentations to large groups of students. parents and alumni/ae
Physical Requiremens

  • Work will require sittina. near vision use for reading and computer use for extended periods or time, bendind, and other physical exertion.
Working Conditions
  • Work is typically performed in an office setting but may be remote as directed bv GES
