- Assist in conducting internal audits and financial reviews
- Gather and analyze data to identify audit gaps, discrepancies or inefficiencies
- Prepare audit plans and perform testing procedures
- Evaluate and document audit findings
- Prepare clear and concise audit reports
- Participate in meetings and present audit findings
- Help monitor compliance with internal policies and external regulations
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and tax returns
- Conduct research and analysis to support current auditing practices and identify areas for improvement
- Currently pursuing a degree in accounting, finance or a related field
- Strong analytical skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly in Excel
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Knowledge of accounting principles and auditing standards
- Prior experience in audit or accounting is a plus but not required
