Sukate Bezeboh is a payment and credit facilitator company on a journey to alleviating poverty in Africa by enabling the diaspora community to provide micro loans to operators of the informal sector in their home countries. The company is registered in England and Wales and with a fully owned subsidiary registered in Cameroon as SB Capital Ltd. We are already on our way to achieving our goal of putting in place the end to end payment infrastructure and facilitating the provision of micro loans by going live with remittance and value added services to Africa (VAS) like utility bills, tuition fees, medical bills, payment for goods and services, and non-bank financial services like health insurance. VAS eliminates the risk and cost associated with middlemen in a typical remittance customer journey.

In this influential role as UI/UI Designer for Sukate Bezeboh Ltd, you will lead, invent and design compelling and pleasing customer experiences for a range of products, delivered across multiple platforms. We’ll look for you to define and extend the UX designs of products, working closely with product owners, researchers, and customer success teams. You’ll enjoy a varied and extensive breadth of work and you’ll gain valuable exposure across a broad range of stakeholders.

Missions / Responsabilités / Activités

Back-end Developer duties and responsibilities

Be involved and participate in the overall application lifecycle
Main focus on coding and debugging
Collaborate with Front-end developers and App developers to implement workable solutions
Define and communicate technical and design requirements
Build high-quality reusable code that can be used in the future
Develop functional and sustainable web applications with clean codes
Troubleshoot and debug applications
Learn about new technologies
Stay up to date with current best practices
Conduct UI tests and optimise performance
Manage cutting-edge technologies to improve applications
Collaborate with multidisciplinary team of designers, developers and system administrators
Participate in conferences and educational programs
Follow new and emerging technologies

Compétences / Exigences / Qualités

Back-end Developer requirements and qualifications

Educated to degree level or equivalent
In-depth understanding of web development
Experience with programming languages like Java, Ruby, PHP and Python
Experience with CMS framework
Familiarity with front-end languages such as HTML, JavaScript and CSS
Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
Team player
Good organisational and time-management skills
Great interpersonal and communication skills
BA degree in Computer Science or similar relevant field
