- Build functional and easy-to-use websites;
- Manages web applications and environments proactively;
- Test websites across browsers, operating systems and devices
- Maintain, configure and troubleshoot servers;
- Ensure site security by setting up firewalls and login pages;
- Optimize loading speeds and capacity;
- Debug pages and fix broken links or images;
- Update website content and review SEO;
- Monitor and analyze site performance (e.g traffic, conversions);
- Testing websites across browsers, operating systems and devices
- Monitoring online traffic and conversions;
- Ensuring functionality and efficiency of site pages and website;
- Analyzes, evaluates & resolves operational issues in a timely manner;
- Support the organization’s digital and networking processes;
- Keep computer systems running smoothly and ensure users get the maximum benefit from them;
- Install and configure computer hardware operating systems and applications;
- Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks and replace parts as required;
- Follow diagrams and written instructions to repair a fault or set up a system;
- Support the roll-out of new applications;
- Set up new users’ accounts and profiles and deal with password issues;
- Respond within agreed time limits to call-outs;
- Prioritize and manage many open cases at one time;
- Test and evaluate new technology;
- Conduct electrical safety checks on computer equipment;
- Troubleshoot technical and operational issues;
- Respond to employee queries and requests.
- Proven experience as a Webmaster or Web Developer;
- Advance knowledge of web analytics and SEO;
- Familiarity with web standards;
- Working knowledge of website management tools;
- Proficient in HTML/CSS, XML; knowledge of SQL and Javascript is preferred;
- Ability to generate creative ideas;
- Attention to detail and outstanding organizational skills;
- Must be able to collaborate with a team;
- Strong grasp of visual design principles;
- Proven experience in a similar role;
- Strong knowledge of IT systems;
- Excellent problem-solving skills;
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Web Development using WordPress: 3 years (Required);
- Webmaster: 3 years (Required);
- Web Design: 3 years (Required)
- Web analytics and SEO: 3 years (Preferred)
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- English and French (Required)
