Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled Azure Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and manage our cloud solutions using Microsoft Azure services. As an Azure Cloud Engineer at OrderFirst, you will play a crucial role in deploying and maintaining Azure-based applications and infrastructure to ensure seamless operations. You will collaborate closely with development teams, system administrators, and stakeholders to deliver efficient and secure cloud solutions.
- Design, deploy, and maintain Azure infrastructure solutions, including virtual networks, subnets, storage accounts, and virtual machines.
- Implement and configure Azure services such as Azure Active Directory, Azure DNS, Azure Traffic Manager, and Azure Firewall.
- Develop deployment scripts and templates using Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates, PowerShell, or Azure CLI for automating provisioning and configuration.
- Implement continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using Azure DevOps or similar tools.
- Configure and troubleshoot network connectivity within Azure, including virtual networks, subnets, network security groups (NSGs), and VPN gateways.
- Monitor Azure resources using Azure Monitor, Azure Log Analytics, and other monitoring tools to ensure optimal performance and application health.
- Design and implement backup and disaster recovery solutions for Azure-based applications and infrastructure.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, provide technical guidance, and ensure successful delivery of Azure solutions.
- Stay up to date with the latest Azure features, services, and industry best practices.
- Create technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, system configurations, and operational procedures.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Solid experience as an Azure Cloud Engineer or similar role, with expertise in designing, implementing, and managing Azure solutions.
- Proficiency in Azure infrastructure components such as virtual networks, storage accounts, virtual machines, and Azure Active Directory.
- Strong scripting skills using PowerShell, Azure CLI, or similar tools for automation and deployment.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or other similar tools.
- Deep understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, and network security.
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools like Azure Monitor, Azure Log Analytics, and Application Insights.
- Knowledge of backup and disaster recovery strategies and technologies within Azure.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
