- Direct all operational aspects including distribution operations, customer service, human resources, administration and sales;
- Assess local market conditions and identify current and prospective sales opportunities;
- Develop forecasts, financial objectives and business plans;
- Meet goals and metrics;
- Manage budget and allocate funds appropriately;
- Bring out the best of branch's personnel by providing training, coaching, development and motivation; Locate areas of improvement and propose collective actions that meet challenges and leverage growth opportunities;
- Maintain a positive customer relationship, planning and delivering effective marketing strategies and monitoring the progress of new and existing financial products;
- Network with appropriate professionals;
- Review business areas and identify new market opportunities;
- Share knowledge with other branches and headquarters on effective practices;
- Maintain a high standard of discipline within the Branch and ensure that all staff are performant; Stay abreast of competing markets and provide reports on market movements and penetration.
- To have at least a Bachelor's degree in Management, Business Administration, Banking and Finance, Economics, Marketing or an equivalent in a similar domain from a reputable university;
- Proven bank management experience for at least three years as a Branch manager or similar role;
- Sufficient knowledge of modern management techniques and best practices
- Good working knowledge in Excel and Microsoft Word,
- Strong analytical skills,
- Proven track record of good performance,
- Ability to meet sales targets and production goals,
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills,
- Someone of impeccable personal and professional integrity,
- A personality that is self-motivating, engaging, positive, result driven and possesses the maturity and capacity to command respect.
