- Meeting with users to discuss the scope of their needs
- Analyzing existing programs for improvement or modification purposes
- Researching and designing new software systems, websites, programs, and applications.
- Writing and implementing, clean and scalable code.
- Recommending and executing program improvements, with user feedback
- Creating technical documents and training staff.
- Manage technology services (computers, internet access, user’s access, network, printers, softwares, etc.)
- Installs and maintains routers and switches (Mikrotik, Juniper, Cisco, etc.)
- Installs, configures and maintains wireless networks.
- Configures and maintains essential IP services including DHCP, SMTP on Windows and Linux servers and desktop systems.
- Configures and maintains web content filtering system(s).
- Participates in the documentation and implementation of policies and standard operating procedures
- Participates in development of IT Service Catalog offerings, Service Level Agreements, and Operating Level Agreements consistent with the needs of the organization.
- Participates as a member of the IT management team in planning, problem resolution (through the Group Helpdesk), and reviewing department performance.
- Bachelor's degree; at least 2 years of responsible work experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified
- Advanced knowledge of programming languages including JavaScript, HTML5, Python
- Knowledge of software systems and frameworks including Node.JS, Git, MySQL, MongoDB
- IP services including DNS/BIND, DHCP, SMTP and SNMP (Windows, Linux)
- Ethernet networking protocols and analysis
- Data security design, principles and practices
- Knowledge of current trends and developments in information technology.
- Ability to learn new languages and technologies quickly
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work as part of a team or individually on a project
