1. Responsible for:
- Supervise and co-ordinate maintenance activities of ballast tanks, cargo tanks and offloading systems as well as general deck maintenance.
- Participate in gas freeing operations and supervise tank entry operations.
- Participate in planning of LNG cargo operations
- Coordinate and supervise lifting operations.
- Review the operational procedures and work instructions periodically.
- In the event of an emergency as part of the Facility Response Team.
- Ensure a high standard of housekeeping and safe work practices, protection of the environment to be a consideration at all times.
- Prepare and handover of Lead Marine Technician report for daily shift handover.
- Prepare and handover of Lead Marine Technician report for crew change handover.
- Maintain accurate and up to date the lifting gear register and crane logbooks.
- Prepare data for entry into daily reports and Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
- Reporting of all accidents, incidents, near-misses and dangerous occurrences without delay in accordance with the Operations Management system Procedure
- FLNG Security Officer’s Deputy and act as Facility Security Officer in the absence of Marine Superintendent (SSO).
- Experience as Lead Marine Technician on FLNG’S/FPSOs.
- Minimum STCW Certificate of Competence Management level with
- Advanced Liquefied Gas Tanker Operations endorsement
- Ship Security Officer (SSO) course and Certificate in accordance with STCW.
- Safety Training Courses and Medical Certificate in accordance with requirements by Client as well as the continental shelf authority for the current operating area.
- Competence and training as per the Training Matrix or as designated by Client Management.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a technical or operational role on FLNG, FPSO, FSRU or LNGC
