- Participate in the creation of highly detailed building designs and drawings using special computer aided applications.
- Discuss with construction professionals on the feasibility of potential projects.
- Consideration of constraints such as planning legislation, environmental impacts and project budgets.
- Work closely with a team of other professionals such as project managers and civil engineers.
- Adapt plans according to circumstances and solve problems that may arise during construction.
- Specify the requirements for each project.
- Visualization of construction sites, proposed locations and customer meetings.
- Have extensive experience in a similar position
- Being registered in the national order is an added advantage
- Degree in architectural design or similar qualification.
- Excellent design and writing skills
- Proficiency in computer-aided applications
- Creativity.
- A keen eye for detail as well as seeing the big picture of a project
- An analytical mind with excellent problem solving and math skills.
- Leadership skills and the ability to work well within a team of other professionals
