We are recruiting to fill the position below; (AS SOON AS POSSIBLE).
Job title:Cashier.
Location:Akwa, Douala.
Job Type :Full Time
Qualification :BSc/BA/HND
Experience :1 – 3 Years
- Handle cash, credit, or check transactions with customers
- Scan goods and collect payments
- Ensure pricing is correct
- Issue change, receipts, refunds, or tickets
- Redeem stamps and coupons
- Count money in cash drawers at the beginning and end of shifts to ensure that amounts are correct and that there is adequate change
- Make sales referrals, cross-sell products, and introduce new ones
- Maintain clean and tidy checkout areas
- Keep reports of transactions
- Process returns and check to see if items are damaged Provide excellent customer service to ensure satisfaction
- At least 1-2 year’s work experience.
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent or above.
- Must Communicate in English. Being bilingual is an advantage.
- Familiarity with cash accounting.
- Interpersonal Communication/Written and Verbal Communication
- Computer literacy (Proficiency in MS Office – MS Excel)
- Preferred candidate would be between the ages of 18-30 years.
