Description
The HR intern will assist the HR and Administration team in performing administrative tasks and supporting daily activities; updating employee databases, gathering payroll data, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, posting job ads, and assisting with HR-related reports and employee queries.

We are a food storage, processing, and distribution company that sources products from smallholder farmers, whom we support during the season with input loans and training, so that they can be more productive. We transform our farmers' grain into standardized, consumer products that we sell worldwide, to buyers who can be sure of the quality they receive. At Grassland Cameroon we believe in African farmers. We know that with the right resources, they can improve their livelihoods and escape poverty.
Missions / Responsabilités / Activités
Responsibilities and Duties, but not limited to:
  • Update our internal databases with new employee information, including contact details and employment forms
  • Gather payroll data like paid leave, absences, working hours and bank accounts details
  • Screen resumes and application forms
  • Schedule and confirm interviews with candidates
  • Prepare HR-related reports as requested by supervisor
  • Address employee queries about benefits (like number of remaining vacation days)
  • Review and distribute company policies in digital formats or hard copies
  • Participate in organizing company events
Compétences / Exigences / Qualités
Qualification:
  • Has attained at least a Bachelor’s degree in HRM or related field
  • Minimum 1 year experience working in a related field
  • Basic knowledge of Cameroonian labour legislation
  • Willing to learn and grow in a startup environment
Skills required: 
  • Have a good knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Drive applications Team worker who pays attention to details and is goal oriented
  • Efficient in oral and written communication
  • Respectful, humble and ready to learn
  • Fluent in English and can communicate in French
