Description
Electram Engineering, a leading renewable energy company, is seeking highly motivated and talented Web Development students or entry-level professionals to join our Professional Internship program. We prioritize female applicants and are committed to building a diverse and inclusive team. As a Web Development intern at Electram Engineering, you will be working on various web projects and collaborating with our team of designers, developers, and marketing professionals. The successful candidates will be responsible for designing, coding, and testing web pages using various programming languages and content management systems.
Missions / Responsibilities / Activities
  • Developing and maintaining websites using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
  • Collaborating with the design and marketing team to ensure the website's design and content meet the company's needs.
  • Developing and testing custom WordPress themes and plugins.
  • Working with custom post types, custom fields, and other WordPress features.
  • Debugging and troubleshooting website issues.
  • Optimizing website performance, including page speed and search engine optimization (SEO).
  • Implementing website security measures and maintaining website backups.
  • Assisting in the development and deployment of web-based applications.
  • Keeping up-to-date with the latest web development trends, techniques, and technologies.
  • Participating in team meetings and communicating with team members to ensure projects are delivered on time and meet quality standards.
Job Requirements
  • Must be pursuing or have completed a degree in Web Development, Computer Science, or related field.   
  • Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.  
  • Ability to work with WordPress and custom post types.   
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.      
  • Passion for renewable energy solutions and eagerness to learn.
